Several one-man shows in London, Cambridge, and Norfolk. There are works of mine in many private collections, and I am currently exhibiting  at The Cork Brick Gallery in Bungay, Suffolk.

My main interest lay for many years in Landscape Painting, where my preference was, and still is, to work on location whenever practicable, for I find the atmosphere and spontaneity of working outdoors is so difficult to re-create in the studio

Interiors, Still Life and  Figure painting are currently my preferred subjects, though I also enjoy Portraiture and the now infrequent diversion into Murals.

 I have never really considered myself a colourist, always preferring a subdued palette, where tone rather than chroma predominates. I tend to paint mainly in either oil or alkyd on canvas. Although I have experimented with the whole media spectrum from  egg tempera on gesso panel right through to acrylics, I always seem to gravitate back to oil paint.

Mostly I work on a fairly small scale, except when painting on walls, then of course the very reverse is  the case..
